Blog#5 Animal rights
Growing up I wasn't really an animal lover per se, I was fascinated by the animal kingdom but didn't feel spiritually or ever felt anything morally wrong with the way we treat them. Over the last 2 years since I met my girlfriend who happened to be a big animal lover I began too symbiotically love animal subconsciously until I realized she wore off on me. She open my eyes to really connecting with animals and seeing them as our kin that we shaRE the world with and that they aren't beneathe us. During our relationship we save a stray kitten on our way to Rhode Island who we named Rhodes and we recently we adopted a recur dog named stella and they are literally like our children. I was already on an elightened path to seeing animals as our equals and watching the documentary Earthling I was completely disturbed with how we as the human race treat animals from our food to clothing, pets and entertainment it's disgusting and no wonder there's so many diseases that are attributed in our food. The abuse pigs, chickens and Cows go through was heart wrenching. The section on how leather goods are made is unforgivable. Some might say the documentary is very harsh but I think it's what we all need to see in order to make a change. Animals are sentient beings breathe , see and move just like us so they are entitled to the same rights hopefully one day as a society we can see that.

Blog #4
I didn't want to believe that sex was just a pure desire to feel, to touch just the sole action. My principles were intially challenged because morally I wanted to believe that sex is attached to love because I'm in love with my current girlfriend. I tried to justify it but unfortunately all i could think of was i was conditioned to associate sex with love there was really nothing else I could really think of. I guess I was in denial to some extent because before my current girlfriend sex really was emotionless or not even attached to anything, when I thought about it really was just to feel the act I guess subconsciously there might have been the want to be desired or wanted but on the surface it was really just the act. So I can say my past helped me understand Alan Goldman's article and with that said he was the closes I could relate to and were closer to my moral or least who I could agree with to some extent. I chose Goldman because I couldn't really think of anything but the moral that was taught to me may it have been through my parents raising me or societies perspective that ive learned, I didn't have a good defense the article convince me that sex is sex and once something else comes into play it becomes something else.

Blog #3 social moral
If I had to choose a suitable social moral for my life style it would have to be the ideals of communism. I know that communisms history isn’t very squeaky clean but the original ideas that it was composed of sound like things I would’ve would thought of. Ideas like that of Carl Marx that distributing wealth, health care, taxes were all evenly spread out. Unfortunately communism has had a history of being used incorrectly but what social moral hasn’t? Democracies have been known to fall, I think if utilized correctly communism could’ve been used more appropriately. Some say it doesn’t allow for creativity because it doesn’t give incentive because everyone is paid the same. I think if people did things more for self-accomplishment then that in itself would be all the incentive they need. A liberal state sounds like it has its perks of course right? You discover some ground breaking idea and make billions but then you’re employee on the lower side of the spectrum is paid minimum wage and they work as hard if not harder. I believe in communally helping each other, two is better than one and that’s a major part of the ideals communism possess.
