Blog #2
I grew up in a very old fashioned household where loyalty, trust and respect was imbued in us at a very young age. These principles became almost second nature to me through my life, not to say I'm perfect but for the most part it was just apart of who I am. My parents were born and raised in Puerto Rico and had very strict parents that instilled these principles with an iron fist, I was lucky enough for them to be more modern and easy going that it didn't take much to provide me with a blue print of what principles I should have Without having to feel pressured. Bertrand Russell's 'Value of Philosophy was very knowledgeable to read, unfortunately throughout life I gained many biases from conforming to my environment and I felt his writings reiterated ideas I've had before and fortified them. Having less biases has kept me open minded and able to view things more constructively. Toaism was also a good read and sometimes just focusing on the now like the elements around you can free you from the negatives and can be very meditative.

After reading your blog i see we share a few similarities such as how you were taught your principles is the same way i learned mines which is from the people that raised us. And also the fact the i too share a unbiased way of thinking just because i felt like it caused open mindedness to explore something new without second guesing
